Site Comments / Re: Suggestions on Links Preview Mod
« Last post by live627 on November 27, 2022, 01:28:47 AM »Hi,
Amazon seems to have measures in place to reject bots and I've been trying to work around it. The German site seems to be more strict about it. Fortunately, I think I have a way around that now.
So it looks like a link to another thread on that same forum with the attached image embedded into the post.
Can definitely be done.

More important what I did not like is how it handles links to posts within the very forum. IP Board handles this in a nice way, giving a preview of the post inlcudingf its attachment(s). See attached sample screenshot. Thanks for sharing this neat idea.
Your mod will unfortunately only give the subject and posters name. I think it would be great to also post the content of the post like IP Board does.

Site Comments / Suggestions on Links Preview Mod
« Last post by atanua on November 24, 2022, 02:02:02 AM »Hello, I would like to buy this mod and therefore did some testing on it. Now I have two suggestions:
1st there seems to be an issue with country domains. When I post a link from amazon.com it works just fine, but once I paste in one with a German .de domain it is not parsed.

Do you think this could be done?
Thank you
