I seen a post at smf.org that yous said you made a mod that allows membergroup selection at registration. Did you ever finish it?
I'm looking for a mod or hack that allows me to show a questions such as "Gender", and the member selects in a dropdown which gender his or she is, but those selections are actually secondary membergroups. I have need for two fields with options, with the options being secondary membergroups that are required on registration.
Gender: - group id 96 - group id 97 - group id 98 - group id 99 - group id 100
and
Status: - group id 101 - group id 102 - group id 103 - group id 104
Even if your mod doesn't do this, or something similar, perhaps I can get it as a paid hack?

I did finish it, but it only allows primary group selection. The groups would need to be freely joinable.

Ok, can this be done then? Perhaps as a hack, no need for an admin panel.
